Whats a good brand of boots for skinny calves with good tread?

I recently bought a pair of Timberland's fashion boots because they have good tread but they are 15 inches+ and my calves are 13.5 inches. I want a pair of leather boots with good tread. Waterproof is a plus but right now I just want to look at brands with practical everyday boots that I can wear without slipping and falling on my face.
