It Absolutely depends on the names.And if they are spelled correctly.Their are names with a Y in them that are spelled correctly.It is very rare to go wrong with classic names.Names like Mary,Ellen,John,Henry ETC are fine.As for quite unusual as long as people can say them correctly and they are not way to out there.You can never go wrong with names them after someone Special to you.As for hipish I would say as long as they are names.
