How to seem approachable and friendly to small children?

Bright or pastel colors! Get down to their level!! Don't be afraid to get on the floor and play with them! If you have it avail take a babysitting class they would give you a lot of great idea!!! my kids are happy when the baby sitter get's down and plays with them and sings and acts goofy! doesn't really matter so much the clothes i don't think
